Hearts Tourney

First topic message reminder :

So here is a basic picture I took of the look of it. The bottom indicates what would happen if we got 32 people, and what there positions would be in the next round (switches to 16 player set-up). Obviously to earn maxiumum funds, this would be open to those outside the flag.

OK volunteers apreciated:
[Police]- We need people to watch the tables to make sure noone cheats and give Bia or I the table results. (Not reccomended for those who want to play)
[Coordinators]- We need one person to make a page for the PP forums (Sage Events) and give it to me, one person to come up with/ find prizes, and one person person who will be willing to spam relentlessly to try to get people to join it.
[Players]- Obviously we need plenty of these so if you're signing up I will be starting a list in the news of my basement.

Definitely count me in as a player. I have quite a few hearties to spam, but I can't guarantee too many will show up. As for prizes, I might be able to think of some and possibly provide a couple, depending on how expensive they should be, and how much poe I have at the time.

We just have to decided on a time and let it all fall together

Spontaneous Combustion's Have a Hearrrt Hearts Tournament!
On Tuesday November 18, 2008 at 4:30 pirate time (type /info to check), Spontaneous Combustion will be hosting a Hearts/Rumble tournament and a mystery auction! The Hearts tournament willl be first, followed closely by the rumble, and finish with the mystery auction. The rumble and hearts tournaments cost 5,000 poe each to join, however, if you disconnect during a match you will recieve 2,000 back. You will notice below that prizes are based on how many people we get so the more people who join, the bigger the prizes! The mystery auction will start at the end of the rumble tournament and there will be 15 items. These items will range from sticks to furniture to boats. The bidding on all items starts at 5K with 1K increments. You must pre-register by Sunday, November 16th. To register, contact Biapalha or Chipps in game.
Prizes:
Hearts Tournament:
1st: 30% of entrance fees plus 1st place card
2nd:20% of entrance fees plus 2nd place card
3rd: 10% of entrance fees plus 3rd place card
Rumble:
1st: 30% of entrance fees plus 1st Place card
2nd: 20% of entrance fees plus 2nd Place card
3rd: 10% of entrance fees plus 3rd Place card
